The Power of Words & Awareness Videos

Now I'm in the drive where my clips are, I thought I'd share another couple with you...never know you may find them useful or a change from what you normally use.....

This one I use when delivering our Safety session.  We focus on the See, Feel, Do triangle to emphasise that our actions are driven by our emotions.  Therefore, if we are trying to change/improve staff behaviours (in this case Safety behaviours) we would be best to change what the person sees/feels in order to change what they do - a good e.g. of this is Children in Need...what do they show us in between the fun and games? - the images and stories which hook our emotions and drive our actions to donate money.  This clip summarises this well although brings a tear to my eye every time!

A brilliant awareness clip - this one never fails to shock on the first viewing for most people.  Again we use this for Safety training for managers to demonstrate how easy it is to 'not see' hazards/risks that you're not looking for.
