MMU is conducting research into how organisations promote and implement Shared Parental Leave (SPL). The aim of the research is to inform future policy and spread good practice.
For this focus group, we are looking for HR practitioners who are willing to share their experiences of implementing, designing and/or managing requests for SPL and/or supporting employees seeking information.
Participants will need to work in the private sector and have experience or knowledge of managing an employee through the process or managing requests for information either in practice or in theory.
The focus group will be facilitated by a volunteer research assistant supporting MMU. The discussion will be recorded in order to capture the experience of the group and will be transcribed for analysis. The identities and employers of participants will not be published and will remain confidential. Data published in the final report will be referred to anonymously.
All CIPD Manchester Public Policy meetings are held under Chatham House rules so that members can feel free to express their views. Sandwiches and tea/coffee will be available.
