Hi everyone,
In the past we have only offered company vehicles but this year we are introducing the option of opting out of the company car and taking a cash allowance. I have been asked to look into the values to be offered per banding.
Do any of you have car allowance and how do you offer yours? Do you offer dependant upon position in the company or a fixed amount across the board?

D - £4,500
C - £5,000
B - £6,000
A - £7,000

In my last company managers were provided with a car allowance based on their management level. So a middle manager level would recieve £500.00 per month which was tax and NI able. I think if I were looking into this I would proabably speak to the car leasing companies to get an idea on the different levels that can be assigned to differnet makes of cars?
