I'm just reading an article on flexible benefits and this company have been mentioned, Salary Finance. Has anyone else come across them? It sounds like a good idea (cost/risk free to employers), but would be interested to hear a real life example of how it works in practice...

Hi Becky,
I am in the midst of reviewing our benefits package and also want to look into companies that offer flexible benefits but I haven't come across this type of benefit personally before .
At the moment we facilitate all of benefit ourselves and it may remain that way but we'll see after the review.
I will be watching out for replies on here as well to see if anyone has heard of it but I am sure that the company can put you in touch with one of their current clients to have a direct chat if you asked them when you are at that point in the research.

Same here - we facilitate everything ourselves and to be honest, that's probably how it will stay for the time being so I'm looking at how we can offer flexibility with benefits, without causing too much admin for HR!

I was quite intrigued by SalaryFinance as not the sort of benefit I've come across before and sounds like a good idea - especially if there's no real risk to the company. Like you said, I'm sure the company can provide some client testimonials if need be.
