Hi all,
I am in the process of looking at various HR systems that cover various aspects.
Ideally i would like to find a system that covers the following:
Payroll
Employee Directory
Resourcing
Benefits
Talent Management
Performance Management
Can anyone point me in the right direction or is there anywhere i can find a type of guide on HR systems
Thanks

Hi Victoria,
In my research process, I found an article on HRMS Software that covers all of these features. It might help you as it gives you a detailed explanation of each module. Please check it out and let me know if you need any other help.
Hi Victoria
You might find a site like Capterra a useful starting point. http://www.capterra.com/human-resource-software/ They are a bit like the TripAdvisor, so you can read client reviews alongside a description of the product. It's a little hard to tell which solutions are UK focused as they list a lot of US vendors. However, if you pick vendors with UK offices it's a fairly safe bet that the UK legislation is covered, and data stored within the EU. If you are fairly big, and looking for assistance with scoping/selection/implementation, you could try contacting an independent consultancy - the folk at www.liteconsulting.co.uk. seem to have a really good understanding of the market, and what it takes to make a successful selection/implementation.
The newer Cloud-native systems don't yet offer their own payroll, although most will integrate with payroll systems. Older solutions have generally bought or (less frequently) built payroll software, so can supply both elements, but they are not always well integrated. Make sure you see both solutions working together in a demo (or even better a trial system).
It's also worth considering the pros and cons of Cloud-native v Cloud hosted. The former tend to be cheaper to implement and manage (and usually publish their pricing on line), the latter have been around longer, so tend to have more functionality but aren't optimised for rapid Cloud deployment/on-going updates, so can be considerably more expensive in terms of set up and support /professional services.
Good luck with your project.
Kind regards
Sue
Morning Lucy
Not sure if the linke below would be of use, it was initially about absence management software but may be of use?

All the best

This is a huge area and one of the key things you need to focus on in order to get the right 'fit' is to establish exactly what you need the HRIS to do. If you want all of these things, you may well need to compromise on some functionality as most systems don't do everything well.
Another consideration is the size and complexity of your organisation. What systems have you been looking at so far? Being aware of the 'shiny' sales patter - they normally show you bells and whistles, which is never something you can recreate in-house with customisation. Know exactly what you want with a clear scope of activities and outputs, and ask lots of questions. Due dilligence is important too, once you've made your decision.
Best wishes
