Part-time Entry Level HR Role?

Hi all,

I'm not sure whether this is the 'done' thing on here but I figured that I've nothing to lose!

After being made redundant from my previous role as a subscriptions manager, I used it to take an opportunity to pursue my passion. With that said, I am currently studying a CIPD level 3 in HR practice and I'm looking for an entry level part time role within Human Resources.

I reside in the Greater Manchester area and have my own vehicle.

I was wondering if anyone is aware of any suitable vacancies within their organisation?

Alternatively, should you know of anyone recruiting within the HR sector, please feel free to let me know.

Hi Sarah

I don't know of any roles in your area but I just wanted to say good luck with the job search. I have posted previously about some students of mine who volunteered for a charity and that gave them HR experience to put on their CV, not sure if this is an option for you?

There has been alot of debate recently about part time roles at a senior level and the fact they are so scarce I am not sure how this applies for more junior roles.

What other routes are your trying at the moment? I know agencies can be a good route but I have found from past experience you have to be very specific about your role criteria otherwise they offer you roles which do not match your requirements!

  Thank you for your reply, Sarah. I have a couple of opportunities that look promising, I should know more in the next couple of weeks.
  
  I am finding that part time roles are particularly hard to come by but full time is not an option for me at present.
  
  I did register with a large, reputable agency yesterday to widen the net, so to speak, and I have been working hard on LinkedIn growing my network and talking to HR professionals of various levels within different organisations.
  
  I am sure my efforts will pay off soon!
