Hi,
I have done some research on line and not really found an answer so thought I'd throw my question open to everyone on here!
I'm completing my CIPD level 3 qualification this month, and at the end of the month am having a review with manager to go through what I've learned during the course and discuss a salary raise. My problem is I have no idea what a reasonable salary range would be!
I will be Level 3 qualified, with almost 2 year's service at the company, and the company itself is quite small with a turnover of 1.2-1.4 million and 18 staff. When I've looked online so far lots of estimated ranges seem to be for bigger companies which has made me unsure of what would be realistic.
Research so far has come up with anything from £20,000- £27,000. Any thoughts from people in similar positions knowledge on salary banding for HR positions at this level would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi Eleanor,
I received the below from Hays in the New Year, which might give you a bit of an idea.

Hi Eleanor
I would look at a couple of things, one some HR recruitment agencies have some very good salary survey information which they provide for free. One which springs to mind is Hudson and Ashley KateHR.
Also in one of the recent People Management there was an article on HR salaries I think it was a couple of months ago now, does anyone know which one it was?
This will also depend on where you are located; South East versus the North there will be a difference.
Good luck with your negotiations I hope this helps!
Sarah
Hi Sarah,
Thanks for your reply, I'm located in Manchester. I'll definitely check out those agencies!
