I wonder if anyone has a volunteering template that they use within their business when they have 1 week work experience employees.
Whilst I am happy to create my own for both under 18 employees and over, I would love to see what other people may use. Historically we've hardly had any of these scenarios but it seems to be increasing in requests and I feel we need to be more responsible and clear with the expectations from both the volunteer and the company.

Take a look for your local branch here and what events are happening. Remember attending these events are great CPD evidence.

Hi Sarah,
We have a combination of school work experience and also we are beginning to get more requests from staff who may have a relative that wants some work experience so that they can decide which route to go down with their careers so this is more informal.
I'm aware of what we have to consider when employing under 18s but I was interested if anyone simply had an example of a template they use really. I think I'll just end up customising a template from the internet.

Just a general question but do you think that employees appreciate the work entailed with providing work experience opportunities from past experience there is so much to consider does the time that it takes to do this balance the benefits of providing it when you think of the direct indirect costs?

Do you mean someone from a school or college for one week's work experience or do you mean a volunteer from any background. Also what sort of templates did you have in mind?
I googled this and there were lots of websites with free templates but not sure I could vouch for their accuracy.
