We use Capsule here at People Alchemy. This is very competitively priced and does most things we want. I used to use expensive solutions (like SalesForce and Maximizer) in the past. They have better reporting and some other smart bits but as an entry user you'd be well off with Capsule. It has a smartphone app.

I guess it depends on what your criteria is for your CRM system and the context of your organisation.
So for my business we are a 5 person microbusiness and we wanted our CRM to link to our phone system, we use one called Bitrix24 it is free and you can buy add ons.
