There's always lots of talk each year about what is trending in L&D but I found this one quite interesting, the results and the approach.
It's well worth keeping your eye on trends in L&D. You get insight into what's changing, what's around the corner and how the needs of your learners may start to shift. Unsurprisingly, technology often features in these trends, but what areas of technology specifically are people talking about the most?
In this report titled L&D Trends on Twitter in 2016, Jolly Deck have analysed the Twitter accounts following two prolific L&D tweeters, Don Taylor and David Kelly, and built algorithms and analytics to assess what people were talking about the most. They've contrasted their findings with another popular report giving a useful insight into what surveys says the trends are versus what people are actually talking about.
It's well worth a read and you can find it by clicking on the image.
