As I'm sure you're all aware, it's been a very exciting week at DPG as we've been celebrating one year of the Community with competitions, prizes, fancy dress... and plenty of cake!
It's a fantastic achievement and something I'm incredibly proud to be a part of. But what does it all mean?
Well, that's where the A word comes in. Analytics. This is something I've been learning a lot about recently, and something which, if researched and analysed properly, can give you a lot more than just numbers.
Taking a really comprehensive look at the analytics of your organisation, or a part of your organisation - such as the DPG Community - offers the amazing opportunity to lift the lid on who you are, what you do, and ultimately why you're successful and how you can continue to do even bigger and better things in the future. Analytics is a great tool to help you understand your customers / learners / web traffic to help you make decisions on what you do and how you do it.
We use analytics to help us understand what content is popular, what time people come in to the community and we can measure how the community has grown.
Rather than just talk about it (boring) here's a little something I've put together to make our Community analytics come to life - and you're all part of the reason why these number say so many great things about the DPG Community, so thank you!

Hi Mike, I used something called Piktochart- it's really user-friendly and a fun little piece of software. I recommend having a go!
If any of you are having a play around with it and come across some questions do give me a shout, and I'd love to see what you all come up with :-)
Love this Lucy, great way of sharing information that in report format would be quite boring and uninspiring.
What was the software (link) you used in case anyone else wants to get creative and share some infograph masterpieces?
