Dear Community,

We are looking for businesses that are interested in a research cooperation in the UK for the large-scale international research project Comparative Green HRM conducted by Vienna University of Economics and Business in cooperation with Middlesex University and Nottingham Business School.

The research project explores the extent to which employees contribute – through their behaviour – to the environmental sustainability of companies.

The research project aims to take sustainable HRM a step further by focusing on its ecological impact. To accomplish this, we are analysing existing HR practices, which are tackling the topic of environmental behaviour in businesses and how they work. The goal is to develop a roadmap for implementation of Green HRM to make companies greener and therefore ensure their future viability and be more attractive for potential employees.

Since it is an international comparative study, we are looking for co-operation partners in the UK, which will enable us to collect data in their businesses (surveys and interviews).

For more detailed information, please read the attached PDF, visit our project website (https://www.wu.ac.at/en/persm/green-hrm/) or contact me directly at raik.thiele@wu.ac.at.

  • Hello: My name is Lili and I am from Armenia! I got a great interest in your project and understanding that you are looking for companies in the UK, I wonder if I could perhaps take part in it in any way! Will appreciate your response!

    • Hello Lili,

thank you for your response! Yes, we conduct the research in UK, USA, Germany and Austria and we are still looking for cooperation partners primarily in UK and USA since our access here isn’t really good. What kind and size of company are you working for in Armenia?

      best Raik
