Creating a Manager-Led Coaching Culture to Support Overall Team Performance

Wednesday 30th April 13:45 at CIPD L&D Show 2014

When I completed my final project for HRD Level 5, the topic I chose to look at was Embedding Management Development learning. This revealed for me the clear need to ensure delegates on these programmes are coached to make best use of their skills and to be great coaches themselves. But of course, creating that coaching culture doesn’t happen overnight.

This week at the CIPD Learning and Development show 2014 I’ll be attending a session on this topic. Stuart Holdsworth is the National Learning and Development Manager for Cineworld Cinemas. He’ll be joined by Sue Miller, Learning and Development Manager for Hilton Worldwide. Together they will be sharing their thoughts with the conference on “Creating a Manager Led Coaching Culture to Support Overall Team Performance”.

I’ll let you know any tips I pick up along the way.  You can follow my tweets @dpgplc from this event on Wednesday.

But in the meantime, I'd love to hear what questions you have about creating a manager-led coaching culture. Leave us your comments below...

Thanks
