DPG at Learning & Skills 2017

DPG at Learning & Skills 2017

Join us at the upcoming Learning and Skills event at the London Olympia on the 1st and 2nd of February to see how we can help you develop yourself.

Celebrating the launch of DPG’s partnership with the 70:20:10 institute, Charles Jennings, co-founder and author of 70:20:10, will be at DPG’s stand R2 on Wednesday at 1:30pm following his talk on applying 70:20:10 in practice. You can still register your interest here.

L&D professionals around the world are embracing 70:20:10 to help expand the range of services they offer and connect directly with their organisations’ core businesses. 70:20:10 provides a concrete opportunity to make these services relevant and up-to-date by ensuring they enable learning and performing at the speed of business. In an ever-changing world, 70:20:10 is creating a new future for L&D and helping ensure the profession stays ahead of the game.

At the event, we’ll also be announcing our partnership with Engage – a tool highlighting the key drivers and barriers to success. Engage identifies a person’s readiness for change. This can provide important benchmark data to support a more focused talent management strategy to ensure talent development is optimised.

With the focus on L&D demonstrating the value of L&D initiatives DPG can help again. Our Kirkpatrick Certification takes evaluation to a new level, helping you understand how to effectively bridge the gap between learning and organisational development. DPG and Kirkpatrick Partners have successfully helped thousands of L&D professionals and line managers gain the internationally-recognised Kirkpatrick Bronze, Silver and Gold Level Certifications. Find out how you can get Kirkpatrick Certified here.

Develop yourself this February, DPG offer CIPD qualifications in Foundation Level 3Intermediate Level 5 and following our partnership with CIPD Training, Advanced Level 7.

Seminar talks

Using the research from the latest Towards Maturity In-Focus report, Transforming Formal Learning, DPG’s Mike Collins will be hosting a session at Learning and Skills that will explore why it’s essential that formal learning needs to transform, what hints and tips DPG can share to help you on this journey, and how you can put these in to action. The session will focus on 4 key areas; the role of storytelling in learning, the learner journey, the formal learning process and transferring knowledge and skills. Catch Mike’s talk on Wednesday the 1st of February at 11:45am in Theatre 10.

DPG’s Ady Howes will also be hosting his very own session considering the differences in how people engage with digital content and techniques to increase engagement. Ady will share some tips and ideas on how L&D individuals and teams can develop digital learning design capability. Join Ady on Thursday the 2nd of February at 11:45am in Theatre 10.
