Disruptive changes in digital technology, business models and workforce demographics are radically reshaping the world of work. To meet the demands of this rapidly-evolving business ecosystem, business leaders see a need to redesign the organization
The just-released Deloitte Global Human Capital Trends 2016 report showcases how organizations are responding to the sweeping changes underway by empowering teams, creating a new management model and developing a younger and increasingly inclusive leadership structure. The report includes surveys and interviews with more than 7,000 HR and business leaders in 130 countries.
Among the findings:
- 82 percent of leaders say they believe that culture is a competitive advantage, yet fewer than 1 in 3 executives say they understand their organization's culture
- Leadership models are changing, as organizations dismantle the classic management pyramid
- Technology and business disruption are fueling the demand for a "new organization"
Catering to the employee experience is a top priority for business and HR leaders
