HR Volunteering Opportunities?

Hello everyone,

I hope this type of post is allowed here!

I moved to the U.K from the U.S a year ago and have been having a lot of trouble with my job search. I've been getting a lot of feedback from employers saying that they prefer someone who has U.K employment law experience (understandable). I was thinking that it might be time for me to consider looking at volunteering opportunities that could help me gain some more experience, and I was wondering if anyone might know of any non-profit organisations in need of HR help?

I would love something that is remote but would consider a non-remote job, as long as it's in the Greater Manchester area.
