The L&D landscape is changing!

I came across an article yesterday looking at 3 ways the L&D landscape is changing in 2018.  It shows how important it is for L&D Managers to invest in upskilling their teams in line with the speed of change.

It was clearly evident that there was increased interest in AI, VR and gamification in learning, at last weeks Learning Technologies Exhibition & Conference.

It would be good to hear from those of you that have succesfully implemented any of these tools into your learning programmes.

  • Hi Karen,

Interesting article.  I think of the 3, gamification will be the one where we see the most progress in the short term.  It's definitely the one that I am keen to explore and it also feels as if it's the one that will be more straightforward from a technological point of view.

Interested to hear what others are thinking and looking to leverage in 2018!

    Thanks,

    Duncan

Yes I agree with you regarding gamification. This is definitely a great tool to maximise engagement through capturing the interests of learners and motivate they to continue learning.
