Webinars: Tips for Getting Started

Webinars are part of the learning mix on our programmes and are a fundamental part of the experience with DPG. They're used in a variety of ways including welcoming new participants to their programme, supporting face to face workshops, keeping our Online HR Management Programme personable and interactive and providing additional support.

Whilst it varies from group to group our experience tells us that as many as half of participants on our programmes haven't experienced a webinar before. Our facilitators play a vital role in helping people to be comfortable in this online environment using the technology as an enabler to great conversations and effective learning.

To support those on our programmes further, we've dug out some footage from the 1940's (ish) which provides some useful tips and advise on getting started with webinars. Take a look at the short video here.

Please share it with anyone you feel may benefit from this important service announcement.

  • excellent little video and some great tips there!

  • Is this actual documentary footage?

    • It is yes. The star of this hasn't aged at all has he? I think he's some sort of Peter Pan character.

      • If he is Peter Pan then his partner in crime must be Tinkerbell!
