What is the DPG Community and what's in it for you?

Sometimes I think the DPG Commuty is like the best kept secret. It's not meant in that way. As far as we're concerned the more that join us the merrier. And the great thing is, it is free to do so.

If you're in the field of Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organisational Development or leadership you're exactly the sort of person this space was built for. You can join free just here.

It doesn't matter whether you are studying a CIPD qualification with us or not, the DPG Community was built as an open space accessible to all. Have a listen to a recorded interview I did with Mike Collins, founder of the DPG Community, to really understand what's in it for you. And if you're already a member of the DPG Community, this interview will no doubt give you some ideas on how you can make the most of it.

We recorded a webinar a while back on the topic of the DPG Community.  If you want a deeper dive into how to get the most out of communities of practice I'd recommend spending half an hour playing through the recording here.

In the meantime, have a listen into Mike sharing his thoughts on what's in it for you.

  • Good links and information for someone new to community and having just signed up to level 5 HR course.

    • Great to have your feedback thanks Bryan. I'm always interested to hear feedback. Anything in particular that has caught your eye? I'm always keen to find out what else people would find useful on the community so any thoughts on that give me a shout!

What's Happening?

I have been lucky enough to receive £40.00 of Amazon gift vouchers from my old department to join the L&D team. I want to spend this on good books for an entry level L&D professional. Anyone got some good books to suggest?
Back from holidays and catching up with the DPG Community. Then Bank Holiday weekend! What are you up to?
