L&D Connect is hosting their next unconference at the People’s History Museum in Manchester on 10th February. The event is described as a space to learn, experiment, network and reflect.

The not-for-profit group is an informal community who support and challenge each other as a personal learning network. They host a variety of online events including the popular Twitter chat under the hashtag ‘#LDInsight’ at 8am every Friday as well as several face to face events throughout the year.

This next event enables those attending to discuss challenges and share thoughts with other professionals helping them to develop as a practitioner both throughout the day and beyond. An unconference means no speakers, no fixed agenda, no selling or promotional activity. Instead, it commences with those attending agreeing how the day should be structured to help everyone get the most out of the day. This flips a typical event approach from being an event with pre-determined content into a highly personalised and unique learning experience.

There is more information in the video below and you can book tickets for the event for just £65 on their event page. There will be a few of the DPG team there at the event and we hope to see some of you there too.
