How do you convert face-to-face training to e-learning? And how do you ensure that the e-learning maps to the qualification that learners are working towards? Virtual College were presented with these challenges when they worked with training provider DPG to produce a completely online CIPD Level 5 Diploma in HR Management. DPG identified that businesses of all sizes did not have HR teams that met their growing needs, meaning more people needed to be trained in business fundamentals. E-learning could make this training more scalable and cost-effective, but it was essential not to compromise on rigour.
During the webinar, DPG and Virtual College will discuss how they approached the project, including:
- How the challenges of converting a face-to-face qualification programme into e-learning were successfully addressed
- How the use of contextualised scenarios enabled learners to apply their knowledge in a realistic environment
- The impact the online course has had and what learners think of it
