L&D Connect is a community for learning and development professionals. We are creating spaces to discuss and share content of interest – you can find us here on Twitter and join the weekly #ldinsight chat at 8am GMT on Fridays

Since 2013, we have set up and run Unconferences for learning practitioners to network and learn. So far, the LnDconnect community have run them in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester & Rotterdam.

This wil be the very first Unconference in Sheffield!!

Who is this for?

If your work purpose is helping people learn and develop, this is for you. Previous attendees include L&D professionals, OD leads, coaches, facilitators, storytellers, actors, digital content creators and graphic artists.

      Great to hear from you. It was a great event. I was part of the team that helped out with the social media posting and you'll find some footprints out there that I can share the links to.

      It's interesting that you ask about the virtual space in relation to LnD Connect. They do some great things virtually.

      A question for you... are you on Twitter? I can help you connect with that community. It's one of the most valuable networks in my own personal learning network and would love to help you get started with it too.

        I have trouble with getting distracted with the noise online and I find twitter really overwhelms me.

        I am the kind of old school guy who likes to read and reflect ... before moving on...!

        Any tips for that :)

        • Ah no worries. The reason I ask is over on Twitter, LnD Connect do a great weekly chat around L&D/OD topics. It's at 8am every Friday.

          I find immense value getting involved in the conversation, but equally, sometimes, it's nice to sit back and 'listen'. I also love the fact that you can do that at any time 'on demand' by searching for the hashtag.

          It's worth a Twitter account just for LndConnect chats!
