As part of my Level 7 CIPD course in HRM, I am required to write a dissertation and I have chosen to focus on Performance Management and want to explore whether there are any direct links to staff retention.
I work for a medium sized organisation and we have implemented a Performance Management process this time last year. I will be interviewing line managers in my organisation to assess what the past year has been like and am also looking for about 100 responses from other UK HR Professionals as my primary data so that I can compare the internal and external environments and observations.
