Another employment status case

Morning all

Heard this one on the radio this morning and I was surprised that foster carers are self-employed? Albeit I guess it is not something I had given a huge amount of thought but foster carers were not a role I considered to be part of the gig economy?

It will be interesting to see if this moves out to other areas?
