I heard about and read about the MIX / CIPD Hackathon a little while ago but then blinked and it became May (how did that happen!).
The concept is about hacking HR to build an adaptability advantage (check out the Pick of the Day today - or the Gary Hamel video in the video section) as this is something that HR can drive and help support our organisations as they need to adapt to the 21st century.
CIPD haven't done anything like this before and I'm pretty impressed with the key messages here and the ways and means they are facilitating this.
You can get involved and get 'hacking' with an online portal register here
To read more about how HR can change the way we change check out this PDF here
There are some tasks for you to complete and plenty of resources to help you get to grips with the Hackathon - in fact you've got until the 8th May to complete phase 1 the orientation.
Interested? Then get involved and let us know what you think.
