Hi, we are putting communications out to staff thanking them for their support, informing them that is the potential that we may need to make redundancies in the not too distant future but this is only a possibility at the moment.  We ae asking them to consider taking unpaid leave or reducing their hours for a period of time to reduce/elimnate the need for redundancies.  Can we do this legally?

    I presume that you are now up to speed on the Job Retention Scheme but post again if you are still requiring information about redundancies during this crisis.
