I started in a new job about 8 months ago. As far as I am aware, there has been no engagement surveys done!
We are rolling out a new 3 year strategy in the new year and I want to know how engagement may rise/fall over the space of a year.
I am wondering if anyone has done pulse surveys? What are the best questions to ask?
I was recommended using the Gallup Q12 but it doesn't really link to what we want to know.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Hannah
When you say pulse survey is that a specific type of survey or a generic term for taking the temperature of the organisation?
If the latter in my previous role we used to undertake an annual employee engagement survey, and this used to be around a number of areas based on vision, mission, calues etc. I also created a smaller survey for a functional team and I based this around the Q12 questions but also around factors which contribute towards a high performing team.
If you send me your email I will send you the PPT slide with the info on as I don't think I can post it here.

Pulse surveys are regular, short surveys sent out to get the 'pulse' of the organisation. Like a regular health check.
That would be good. I'm pretty much starting from scratch so any info would be great!
Thanks,
Hannah
Thanks Hannah I thought so ;-) will send through the info Sarah
We're including this in this weeks update so hopefully we'll get some more input across the Community :)
