Hot hot hot!

For those of us sizzling in the hot weather yesterday whilst toiling away at Level 3 Managing Employee Relations (yes even in Glasgow it hit the near 30s! but the Glasgow HRP group soldiered on relentless).

It will come as no surprise that the Met Office has confirmed that yesterday (Wednesday) was the hottest day of the year and declared a Level 3 Heat-health alert.

Acas have prepared a list of recommendations to help employers manage workplace challenges due to the hot weather, which you can access here:

http://www.acas.org.uk/hotweather

Most of the guidance is common sense, but it may help with those more unreasonable managers.

Kind regards

Sarah
