HR Software - Recommendations?

Hi Everyone,

We're going through the process of sourcing a new HR platform and I was wondering if anyone has any experience of using the following:

CIPHR

Cascade

Element Suite

Access Select HR

People HR

Always good to get feedback from people who are actually using it rather than just going by the demos!  I'll also be asking the companies for client testimonials but thought was worth asking here as well.

Thank you

Becky

  • HI Becky I am going through the same at the moment - I have also come across CoreHR which seems excellent, BambooHR and BreatheHR. I found Cascade and Access to be good but depends on what your requirement are

    • Hi Greg,

I haven't come across Core, Bamboo or Breathe so I'll have a look at them.  Cascade and Access are definitely more expensive than some of the others we've looked at - partly a lot seems to be down to the implementation as some seem to just be a case of filling in a spreadsheet and that's it, but others are much more in-depth to prepare the system for us, which I feel a bit more comfortable with.

Good luck with your searching - have you shortlisted any yet?

      • Hi Becky - for us it comes down to requirements. We need to have a rota scheduling system and want to take our payroll back in house. CoreHR have all in one system but think it is going to be expensive but looks fantastic. BambooHR, BreatheHR and PeopleHR all HR systems so would need to add a rota system like Rotacloud or Planday and then Sage50 Payroll. obviously this comes with its own set of problems. must say I was not a fan of Cascade or CascadeGo. only concern with BambooHR is it is an american system which means issues around support and of course the storage of data

have just started a trial with PeopleHR and this seems to have great functionality.

  • Hi Becky

There have been a number of discussions on this which may be of use, sadly when it comes to technology I can't help in terms of recommending software I've only used systems such as SAPHR.

  • HI we use PeopleHR its fab it has helped us streamline our onboarding and allows us to manages absence, holidays and keep all employees documents in one place.  It also produces many reports that help with HR metrics

    • Hi Louise - thanks for the feedback.  We've signed up for a free trial of PeopleHR so that we can have a look around and see what it's like  - good to have feedback from someone who uses it in practice!

    • Hi Louise - does this system have a scheduling / rota aspect to it and payroll?
