Hi everyone,
I'm working at a small start up based in London and the interviews are a bit hit a miss. We do not have a overall company philosphy on interviewing and some people are great while others want to know what the candidate's favourite book is in detail.
We'd like to have a small interview training session with around 5 or 6 people where we can cover things like:
Unconscious bias
Good questions vs bad questions
How to give useful feedback and evaluations
Culture fit vs culture add
Please let me know if you know any one that might be interested in delivering this to us.
Thank you!
Joe

Hi Joe, you need to think about the type of interview first, most people will say competency interviews but to be honest, they are so 1990's and we are weeks away from 2020! CI and STAR technique is so overdone now with Q&A on the internet for all to research and learn, the problem is are you getting the real deal or just someone repeating answers from a Q&A bank?
Think about Values-Based Interviewing and Strengths-Based Interviewing, there is a very good book on the latter by Sally Bibb. Are the questions going to align with the culture and values of the company? Remember recruit for attitude and train for skill!
