Is there anyone out there who could enlighten me on ideas on how to measure the candidate experience during recruitment? We have an ATS which can send survey's out to our candidates, but are there any othe suggestions out there?
Also;
What sort of system to other companies have regarding internal applications. Our system is just for external applications, and currently we just have a paper application form for current colleagues who wish to apply for an internal role.

To gather an idea of how candidates felt during the recruitment process I'd reccomend finding out sooner rather than later whilst it's still fresh.
Possibly sending a welcome email and including a questionnaire within this prompting them to fill it out and return it.
If your company holds an induction for new starters, this could be an ideal time to ask all new starters how they felt throughout the recruitment process and comment. An annomous system for this may be more benificial, such as asking each new starter to fill out a short questionnaire and pop it into a box on the way out.

We also ask them to talk about and feedback on their onboarding experience as part of the first formal review during their probation. We find that giving them the opportunity to talk candidly tends to get more information out of the employee.
In terms of our internal recruiment, we do this via our intranet for non salaried employees and via our new recruiment platform for salaried. Employees complete the online application form, upload their CV and this is sent electronically to the recruiting manager.
