Morning all
Interesting to see some big names being named and shamed for not paying the NMW. Note a number of these cases seem to relate to deductions which are made or allownaces which are not made, which then take the employee below the NMW. One to watch out for.
We recently had a client making deductions for lateness (the contract allowed for this). However we pointed out that this would take them below the NMW, so needed amending as a practice.
