"The Parental Bereavement (Leave and Pay) Act 2018 has received Royal Assent. It provides a right to two weeks of time away from work for those employees who have lost a child under 18.

All the detail will appear in supporting Regulations (not yet published) which will contain, amongst other things, details of how much remuneration will be payable during the leave. The Government has said it anticipates introducing Regulations and bringing the Act fully into force by April 2020"

It will be interesting to see with so much Brexit legisaltion to get through if employment legislation such as the above gets pushed back.
