Really sad events about the tragic Glasgow Bin Lorry accident which sadly resulted in 6 deaths.
The Glasgow bin lorry inquiry into the deaths of the six people has heard the driver had no references on his file and was suspended from his former job.
This is a cautionary tale why ensuring that appropriate references is vital and ensuring that all the is are dotted and the ts crossed in recruitment is a vital part of an HR professional's role.
