I am due to start my Level 5 HR Management Course in 6 weeks time and I am interested to know if there are any recommended learning resources I can access either here or elsewhere than can set me up to get a head start before my course begins.
Any suggestions?

HI
Its been many years since I undertook my CPP which is a good grounding. I have bought the book again and am undertaking a crash course in refreshing up on the content. It is also giving me a head start in getting back into study mode and the time it takes.
Hope this helps
Hi Philip,
Welcome to the Community and great to see you're eager to prepare for the programme. There are a few things here you can do. The first is get to grips and confident using the Community as with any new tool is can take time to find your way around.
To help with this you have been added to a group called Become a Smarter Learner - in this group you can find our how to update your profile, connect with other people and learn a little more about what it means to be part of a community. Our experience shows the more you use the community to support your studies the better the experience. It is not so much what you know but how well you can learn new things, how you connect and learn with others and your digital learning skills that are really important.
The second thing for you to do will be to check out the 'Things To Do' section of the CIPD group you've been added too. Within this group you'll find a few things to do and to read that will help you prepare for the programme and we'll post things of interest over the coming weeks.
Finally my advice is get stuck in, get involved and have fun, we're a really supportive community dedicated to supporting professional development in a social and collaborative way. if you have any questions don't hesitate to get in touch
Mike
