Good afternoon all,
I was hoping someone could please give me some examples of simple successful refer a friend schemes they have in the workplace, to aid recruitment.
I am looking to bring this in next year, so far I haven't been able to find many examples. Which may be due to my internet permissions at work!
If you could spare 5 minutes to share I would be very grateful.
May thanks
Kay

Hi Kay
We have an employee referral policy. Existing staff can claim £500 per new employee once the new hire has successfully passed their three month probation period. For hard to find roles the bonus can be increased. We've had some really great staff referral hires but equally some who have gone downhill as soon as probation has been passed and have left soon after.
Sounds like you are going from strength to strength in your role hope you are enjoying it.
In my last role we kept it really simple £250.00 I think when they joined and £250 at the end of the probationary period.
It worked well in some parts of the business where there was high volume recruitment but not so well for specialised niche roles.
Also if the organisation needs to work on it's diversity this can sometimes be a flawed approach.
Anyway some further pros and cons here

If I can find the policy document which I wrote to support the scheme I will send it over.
All the best
Sarah
Morning Sarah,
Thank you, that would be really helpful. Will check the link out now too.
Have a good day!
:)
Hi Kay
In a company I worked for many years ago if you recommended a friend and they were still working for the company after 6 months you were given £250.
I never did take advantage of it but I know some did.
Best wishes,
Gary
Thanks Gary :)
