I'm with my Huntindgon Level 5 group today and we are having a really interesting discussion about contemporary issues in HR and the recent flurry of interest in sexual harassment at work.
Whilst researhcing this interesting to come across this article

It would be interesting to know how organisations are managing this? Some organisations as a result have been rebriefing policies on harassment and what the expected standards of conduct are at work.
What has your organisation been doing?
All the best Sarah

We have recently revamped our induction process. Which now involves EO triaining which also ties in nicely with our company values. So I have open and honest conversations with all our new employees which sets out clear expectations of what behaviour is not acceptable in the workplace. Its a chance for me to talk around the behaviours which want to see with a clear understanding of what is unacceptable and the potential outcome of any unwanted actions. I have had some really interesting conversations with employees and they have brought into the induction programme and understand from day 1 that they need to be a positive role model in the business. I do however now need to role this out to the rest of the workforce, as to ensure everyone has been captured. I would also like to do refresher sessions every couple of years.
All sounds good stuff to me Kay I hope you are well! Sarah
