like a few other people it seems, I am working on the UIN level Survey and am thinking of using our companies employee survey as a topic, do you think this is appropriate?

Hi Gary,
it is the employee satisfaction survey that we have just completed. The response rate was very low and I thought I might do some research into the reasons for this but wanted to make sure that this woould be robust enough for this module before committing time to it

In my experience assessing this module, using the results of an employee survey can be a great starting point. Normally, it's when you've spotted some lower scores in particular departments or perhaps a particular factor has come out lower than others (e.g. leadership). Or it could be the complete opposite and you want to find out what practices are being used which result in such high engagement. The research can then deep dive into why this may be. Is this the sort of thing you were thinking about?

yes this is exactly what I was thinking. We have just completed this years survey and engagement has dropped so I was going to look into this deeper. Will that be enough ?

Yes, but be clear on what you are focusing on, whether it be an area or the survey as a whole. I would recommend looking at demographics as a way of cutting the data and being able to see wider trends (potentially). As you're asked to analyse the research findings, look holistically at them and draw conclusions, compare, contrast etc..
Your facilitator will be able to guide further but if you're on the online programme, that's me! :-)
