I've got a healthy *ahem* obsession with what the workplaces of the future will look and feel like and also what expectations current generations have of this. We also need to turn our attention to the generations coming through school, colleges, apprenticeships and higher education - what are their expectations of the workplace.
A few things have been shared on this subject before and as HR / L&D professionals we absolutely need to be aware of these expectations, the changing nature of work and create the environments, conditions and cultures in which people thrive, work and learn.

So there is lots to take in and think about and we all need to be thinking about the impact of the things covered and what does this mean for us as HR and L&D professionals. If we think like we did 5 years ago let alone 10 years ago we're going to struggle to keep in touch as our organisations and people move on without us.

Anything to be worried about?

As always I'd be interested in your views
