Just thought I would share with everyone a fantastic example of creative thinking. This level 1 evaluation was designed by Sam Underwood of Stockport Homes to be used at the end of his training delivery in the Skills Celebration workshop.
Not only did it capture the results but immediately presented them to everyone visually. Each participant was given a set number of post-its and some red dots to distribute as they pleased.
What does anyone else think?

Love this and I will definitely use it in future workshops! Brilliant!
Excellent way to get instant feedback and be able to tackle any aims and objectives not hitting the mark I also like this as I'm a visual learner and facilitator.
I think it is a great way of collecting honest feedback. It captures lots of information in one place. Thanks for sharing this.

Thanks for sharing Krys - I am going to neaten up my writing! Especially love the dots - I often get people to tick with coloured pens when they are capturing what they think is the most important on a flip chart - but the dots are much clearer.
An online version might be Poll Everywhere - http://www.polleverywhere.com/
This would allow the anonymity aspect to be addressed but would still get the visual impact. Learners answer the question by texting their response - shows up on the screen. Obviously need to have wifi for the presenter.

I love this Krystyna and I can see that it would work well for an external L&D Practitioner or somebody involved in L&D in a small organisation. In very large organisations ease of administration always wins the day and I guess it would need to be redesigned in an electronic format.
I showed it to my Warrington group yesterday in the Demonstrating Value workshop and they thought it was great. One suggestion was that if you did not put the percentages at the top, it would then not matter if someone did not turn up on the day.
I love this idea - cuts down on analysis too!
One drawback we thought of was that perhaps people might not be so free with their marking doing it together , so it would be good if the facilitator left the room while people did this.
Hi Krystyna
I love this - thanks for sharing it - and well done to Sam for creating it! Consider it stolen, Sam! :)
So often I find that workshop evaluation is a pedestrian and - quite literally - a tick box exercise; this is much more engaging and is a great way to collate group feedback.
I just have one question - how many post its and dots were given to each person?

appeals to the visual and kinaesthetic learning styles :)
Love this Krys, well done Sam. Great way of capturing thoughts and feedback.
