Can anyone recommend an instructional design course, My colleague a learning and development specialist is already designing e-learning using articulate storyline, however thinks it would be beneficial to gain some formal instructional design training. Does anyone know of any providers that I can signpost her too who would deliver such a thing in Scotland.

A couple of options that spring to mind that help.
Firstly the Articulate Community is a great place to sign up to. Free and you often get notice of free webinars that they run.
There's also some great resources on this playlist that I often share that might help get started: https://www.youtube.com/user/ArticulateElearning/playlists
There there's Lynda.com. There is some great stuff on there on the topic of instructional design and beyond.
