Hi,
As part of our new people strategy we will redesign our L&D site on our intranet.
We would like the page's structure to be more employee-led in a way that they can find what they are looking for.
We will put the training plan up for the whole year and would like to clarify processes but will put these under heading what employees would look for
I.e.- I would like to do an NVQ what shall i do next
- Which form do I need to fill in for conferences?
- I found an external training who will book it for me?
My question would be to you that what questions would you ask/what were you looking for on your intranet in terms of L&D
Thank you

HI Szabina,
Great question. I love the fact that you're taking the time to find out what others think.
I'm not sure how far you go with the questions, but the ones that jump to mind for me are 'How do I....' in relation to things people might need to do in your organisation. 'How do I change a customer details', 'How do I use the voicemail system' for example.... These at the moment of need answers might be a huge hit for people?
On that note..... have you managed to gather any feedback internally from people? Perhaps you could setup a group of advisors around your organisation that can feed into this process both now and ongoing in the future? Users of the 'system' if you like, who might have some good views on what people need. Perhaps they can champion this approach, gather thoughts from their teams and feed those back to you too?
I'm interested in how this might be presented visually on your intranet. Have you had any thoughts on how it might look/work? I'd love to hear.
