Join LnD Connect for an 'unconference' on 22nd September 2016 at a variety of locations. This is a unique, enjoyable and highly productive approach to developing yourself and you’re invited to come along. The events are being organised by L&D Connect, a community of practice for L&D practitioners and others in HR and organisational development. The format of the day is known as an ‘un-conference’ the opposite of a traditional conference event. In essence it means no fixed agenda, no speakers, no pre-determined topics, selling or promotional activity. Instead, it is a space set aside to learn, experiment, network and reflect.
The aims are simple - to create a space to:
- Experiment with ideas & techniques with other practitioners - get feedback and think differently about what you produce
- Talk about relevant L&D/ OD issues
- Exchange ideas and support fellow L&D professionals
- Encourage networking & best practice sharing within the learning & development community
The morning commences with everyone working together to identify the key discussion topics and then a variety of discussions on those topics follow throughout the day. The locations for the events are selected based on their comfy, spacious environment, with refreshments on tap and lunch included. You’ll meet a variety of people from a variety of backgrounds and industries and no doubt some lasting friendships and L&D contacts. You really get to help shape your own day and the approach ensures you get the very best customised development for the things that matter to you most.
This time and for the first time ever, the event is being run in multiple locations on the same date in a variety of locations. Some have changed since the podcast below were recorded, but tickets are still available in London, Nottingham and Manchester. Most locations still have a few discounted early bird tickets available at £40 (usually £60) which includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
You can find tickets for each of the locations on 22nd September on the links below. We’ve also recorded a quick interview with with one of the organisers Sukh Pabial which you can listen to below.
We hope to see many of you there
