Traditionally mentoring has been the preserve of the wise, sage, older manager offering pearls of their wisdom to a younger inexperienced and impressionable colleague, helping shape their future. And whilst this still applies, mentoring has moved into the 21st century. Bolstered by peer and reverse mentoring, we now know that it is one of the most flexible and powerful tools in the learning and development arsenal.

But despite that many mentors find themselves unexpectedly (and sometimes without want it) thrust into the role with an expectation that they will muddle through.

The webinar is 30-minutes, so we can only achieve a few miracles in that time, but having trained lots of people in mentoring and acted as a mentor, Sarah Hobbs of Talent & Potential has a store of her usual practical advice to make the job much easier including a very useful resource kit that will be shared with the attendees.
