Hi All

I came across this interesting article from Inc Magazine.

https://www.inc.com/todd-nordstrom/research-says-kindness-can-make-you-a-better-leader-here-are-3-reasons-why.html?cid=sf01003

I totally agree with this, particularly point 1.  Appreciation definitely does inspire greater results.

People are impacted by the way they are treated. A thoughtful and considerate leader is something that from a personal point of view has always motivated me to do and give my best.

Have a read, and share your thoughts.

Thanks

Karen

  • Hi Karen,

Thanks for the post. The article lead to a link about a study connecting happiness with productivity. This is very useful. In our leadership development we often disccuss the importance of keeping staff relativly happy in what they are doing and this will help suppoort this message.

    Thanks again,

    Carl

    • Ah glad you found it useful - I totally do believe that happy people are much more productive.  If you;ve not already read a book called The Happy Manifesto by Henry Stewart, I would definitley recommend this.

      Karen :)
