Does anyone have experience of an enhanced paternity leave package? Up until now we have only had one new father in the company and we gave him a week at full pay. However as our company grows we are likely to have more employees becoming fathers and want to put a policy in place. If we make this sort of enhancement for fathers, should we enhance maternity leave too to avoid discrimination?
Not yet sure what difference the Shared Parental leave arrangements are likely to make to us, or how an enhanced paternity package would fit with this.
Any comments and suggestions much appreciated.
