Well its April already! Have to say, it feels like we are still in January the way the weather is going:(. Here's hoping for a flaming hot Summer:).
Since January, I have had a growing sense of achievement. One of my main tasks at work was to source an HR system provider. With the help of the DPG community, my company whittled it down to either Sage or Moorepay (sister company of Northgate Arinso). Just this week we have decided to move forward with Moorepay. I am thrilled, it means that the days of rows and rows of filing cabinets filled with paper files are numbered. It is nice to feel that we as a company are finally moving into the 21st century and I was a part of that process.
I am looking forward to attending work shop 5 on Monday to start the Preparing for success module, resourcing talent. I cannot believe how quickly the time is passing, it will be July before we know it and hopefully a chance to celebrate Londons Level 3 HRP Oct 12 successful completion of the course:).

I posted a question in the forum Learning & technologies. The forums are an excellent source of information and the response rate is good. We are looking at an implementation date of September, so at the moment we are in the process of creating a schedule of works! I imagine its going to be a very busy summer for me. Jen

Ha ha;) Absolutely Bob. Thank you for your kind comments. The community is an invaluable resource and one I enjoy being a part of. I will keep the blog updated as our new system is being implemented, I am sure it is going to be an interesting learning curve for me.
