HR system how to role out....?

We now have our HR system in place.  Interestingly I changed my mind how to role it out!  Originally, I imagined once all data was uploaded I could simply flick a switch, it would be live and everyone would marvel at its efficiency.  

Our HR system has been in place for 3 weeks and it is a good thing.  However, as I have been using it I have been able to see how our managers and staff may use it and the questions they may have.  By delaying the role out, I have been able to make the necessary adjustments and address the predicted questions or concerns before the role out.  Don't misunderstand me, this is a good system, however, it is important to ensure the system fits your business model and the way your company works.

I am now introducing a phased role out, the managers get their training on Wednesday.  I will then give them the time they need to use the system and understand how can work for them before rolling out to the rest of the employees.

It is good to not to have to rely on a paper based records system:).
