In a discussion in the Digital Skills group there's been a mention that collaborative learning requires more than just technical knowledge. There's a shift in culture that sits around learning and knowledge sharing that needs to happen.
DPG's Mike Collins has specialised in community building for a number of years now. In a session at Learning and Skills 2016, Mike shared his experience of developing online communities. In this 30 minutes session Mike provides examples and experiences on how the 5 P's can link up in to a powerful framework to follow for community success.
It's well worth a watch.

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you found it interesting Johanna - are you currently developing or working with online communities at the moment?
Yes. We have a Community board that doesn't get much use and would love to get it used more and have a purpose!
Pleased you enjoyed it Johanna. I quite like this one too if you've not seen it. The Ignite session from Mike on Don't Believe the Hype - 5 mins long.
What does it take to get into the box that rocks?
