Hi all,
Question for you that I am hoping you can help me with. My organisation does not currently have an E-Learning system (what is done via E-Learning currently is outsourced) however within the Training areas we are currently discussing the possibility of getting one. We don't have an LMS so integration with this won't become a problem but not sure about hosting how we would host any courses created?
I have used Captivate before and I am leaning towards this as I know how to use it but I don't really like the system as I don't think it is very innovative. So my main question is.....
What would you recomend for best quality at a resonable price that will let you do innovative things and is fairly intuative?
Any help would be hugely helpful and Mike I am sure you will have something to add on this.
Thank you all in advance!!!

Thanks Duncan,
The 30 day free trial sounds interesting and I have heard of Articulate before. Mobile stuff is definatley not an issue at the moment as I don't think we are anywhere near getting there yet...!
Hi Richard,
I am not an expert by any stretch on this...but I've been looking into what's out there as part of some wider research I've been doing so hopefully can share some useful thr
Have you looked into Articulate Storyline? It looks far more intuitive than Captivate and the learning curve is meant to be a lot more manageable (especially for those not conversant with other Adobe tools). It is also really similar to MS Powerpoint in terms of look and navigation. Downside (depending on if you want to do mobile stuff) is that I don't think it works on Android stuff yet.
Like I said, I am not an expert, these are just my findings to date. You can easily arrange a 30 day free trial though - I am going to give that a go soon! Loads of stuff on YouTube too demonstrations, tutorials etc.
Hope this helps, all the best with it and keep us posted on how you get on!
Duncan
